A logo is a central component of a businesses identity. Logos are seen on store fronts, websites and banners, packaging, print ads, business cards, letterheads, promotional products etc. What would become of Coca~Cola without their famous logo? That could be worse than retiring the original formula!! And how about the Nike swoosh... Wouldn't their gear be pretty generic without it? And I've spent enough time on AOL to be a little paranoid about their Big Brother/Illuminati symbol, heh heh.
Most businesses rely on advertising and promotion to get the business they need. Your logo can have a huge impact on potential customers or clients. A logo says you are professional. It says you offer quality products and/or services. It says you are for real and your customers can feel confident doing business with you. That is, if you have a good one.
The final product that the client approves is not always my personal favorite, but in the end I am always gratified when they say, "That's it! You've done it!"

This is the original logo for ARTiSTiC ViSiONS that was on the first version of this site. I've since adapted it to the current design in the header.

As I recall after reading through your site a few times what struck me was here is a guy with a small business just starting out like I am. Pricing was extremely reasonable and the art work I looked over looked very good to me. The other thing that stood out was your expressed willingness to work with people to get it right no matter how long it took and still keep the price affordable. These things struck a cord with me, said small and trying hard, old fashioned work ethic and a desire to do a job right. ...This all told me here is a guy I want to try and work with. And I am glad I took the chance, followed my gut reaction as I did because normally I do not like to deal with people and companies I know little or nothing about especailly on the web.
As for the bonus, you earned (it) as far as I am concerned. Thanks!

This open letter is to anyone considering the services of Artistic Visions.
After several days of searching both the internet and locally I came across Artistic Visions website. I reviewed the content as I had those of many other sites and found Mr. Howard's concept of working with potential clients to be similar to a number of others except for one very important thing, his expressed desire to work closely with his customers and do everything possible to deliver a quality, and mutually acceptable product.
Based on that I contacted Artistic Visions and a couple of e-mails later decided to work with them. This decision is one I am very happy I made. I found Mr. Howard to be very friendly and helpful, even going beyond our original agreement to meet my needs. He truly listens to his clients needs which makes working with him easy to do. I highly recommend anyone looking for the kinds of services he provides to give him a try. I believe you will be very pleased with the results.

Next, I'll show a few logos I made for Icecast. They had a contest to design their "new" logo. Unfortunately they neglected to post on their site that the contest was over and they left the links up. Sooooooooo, I was too late to enter the contest, but I still think these are good examples.

This could be used as a banner or a header graphic. The station owner, J.C. Matthews really liked this image I created for him shortly after he added one of my songs to his station.MP3.com has gone through some major changes in the last couple of years. This station no longer exists.
